Research and innovation are pillars to quality education. Only a dynamic education setup encompassing active teaching, extensive learning, research, innovation and technology development can answer the social challenges to realise the dream of a self-reliant India. The research potential of Higher Educational Institutions (HEIs) plays a vital role in imparting quality education and provides a broader educational experience whereby students are able to explore the practical application of their classroom experience. 

With this aim, GITHUB cell was established at SGTBIMIT in the year 2022 to inculcate research culture and innovative skills among students in emerging frontier areas including multidisciplinary fields. GITHUB cell provides a platform for creativity and innovation to flourish young minds in institute by enhancing general research capability in newly emerging and challenging frontier areas of Management and Information technology by way of participating in research publications, academic interactions, peer to per presentations etc. The motive of this cell is to motivate students for presenting technical papers/projects at least in National conferences, competitions and exhibitions. It will help the students in gaining confidence to face the enumerable challenges in the outside world.
