IBM SKILLSBUILD PROGRAM

Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Institute of Management & Information Technology (SGTBIMIT), in collaboration with ICT Academy under the IBM SkillsBuild Program, successfully conducted a 4-day Training in Advanced IT Skills from 19th to 22nd January for BCA final year students. The program aimed at equipping students with industry-relevant competencies in Artificial Intelligence and Cloud Computing, aligning academic learning with current technological trends. More than 130+ students participated in the learning program. The program commenced with an inauguration and felicitation ceremony, where the esteemed trainers Mr. Vijay(Trainer – Artificial Intelligence) and Mr. Asim (Trainer – Cloud Computing) were honoured by the esteemed Director Prof. (Dr.) Navneet Kaur, who motivated students to embrace emerging technologies and highlighted the importance of continuous upskilling in a rapidly evolving digital ecosystem. The event was coordinated by Dr. Ritinder Kaur, ICT Co-ordinator and the organizing team, Ms Ayeena Bhalla and Ms Jatinder Kaur. The training program concluded with a Thanksgiving and Valedictory Session, expressing gratitude to ICT Academy, IBM SkillsBuild, and the trainers for their invaluable support and expertise. The program successfully empowered students with practical skills, enhanced technical confidence, and improved industry readiness.
