(???? 968) Parkash Gupurab was celebrated on October 11, 2022 at SGTBIMIT to observe the birth anniversary of Sri Guru Ram Das Ji, who founded the holy city of Amritsar. With the blessings of Almighty, Japji Sahib Path and Kirtan were recited by the students and the staff members followed by Guru Ka Langar. We are grateful to the management of our institute, Honourable Chairman Sir – S.M.P.S.Chadha Ji and Co-Chairman Sir – S. Jasbir Singh Jassi Ji for their never ending support and guidance. Our Honourable Director Mam Prof. (Dr.) Navneet Kaur greeted the sangat and encouraged them to follow the teachings of Guru Sahib Ji. She said that the life of Guru Ramdas Ji is a guide to humanity in all aspects and his contribution to Sikh faith is incomparable. She called for taking inspirations from the teachings of the fourth Guru and inculcate the sense of humility, service and remembering Karta Purakh in life and for the firm adherence to Sikh Principles. The celebration was concluded with saakhi narration on the jeevni of Guru Sahib Ji by our respected Assistant Director S. Verender Singh. Sri Guru Ramdas Ji placed great emphasis on serving others, ending all forms of inequality and discrimination. His quest for a kind and harmonious society inspires us all.
