SGTBIMIT organized a seminar on anti-ragging awareness for first year students, on May 18th, 2023 in the college Seminar Hall at 11:30am. “Wish a Smile NGO” was invited for the event. Mr. Rajinder Singh Arora, who is founder of the organisation delivered his words of wisdom to the students by enlightening them about their NGO and how they contribute towards the society. Advocate Sheetal Raghuvanshi from Wish a Smile NGO presented the topic and enlightened the students on the Anti ragging with various examples and incidents that happened recently. Additionally, she covered some incidents happened regarding cyber space. Our respectable Director ma’am, Professor Dr. Navneet Kaur gave the formal welcome note and Ms.Kashish Representative from students delivered the vote of thanks. The programme was closed at 1:00pm.The programme was successful and students were able to learn various anti-ragging laws.
