SGTBIMIT conducted its Orientation Day for the newly admitted batch of 2023-2026 on September 22, 2023 (Friday) in the Institute. The orientation program was conducted in two sessions where Session 1 was organized for the BBA(G), BBA(B&I) and B.com(H) students and Session 2 was conducted for BCA students. We are grateful to Honourable S. Harmeet Singh Kalka Ji, President, DSGMC for his never-ending support and guidance in directing the progress of the Institute towards scaling new heights. We are also grateful to esteemed S. Jagdip Singh Kahlon Ji, General Secretary, DSGMC for bringing holistic development among students with quality education to achieve excellence in their career field. We are thankful to our worthy Chairman Sir, S. Jasbir Singh JassiJi for motivating and encouraging our students to do wonders with their innovative ideas and talents. The programme commenced with the welcoming and felicitationof the distinguished guests and all our dear students. This was followed with the blessings of almighty by the recitation of Shabad Kirtan. The Introduction session was followed by an enlightening and encouraging speech by Prof. (Dr.) Navneet Kaur, Director, SGTBIMIT. She motivated the students to have a high visionary goal and mission to achieve success in their professional life. CA CS Kamal Grover was the keynote speaker of the day. He isan alumni of SRCC and has a experience of more than 40 years in his field. He is currently associated with Kana & Associates. He also has an expertise in the area of soft skills, which created a difference in the life of thousands of people. While addressing the students, he emphasized on the importance of personality development of students and enlightened them to improve their interpersonal skills. The event was followed by the introduction of all the faculty and staff members. It was further elucidated by the respective HODs of all the departments, who briefed about the enrichment of various existing societies and functional cells and their respective committee heads in the Institute. The programme was concluded with the vote of thanks by our honourable Director Ma’am and worthy HODs and cultural committee heads.
